Halloween!

Kloe was cute as a bug this Halloween! She was dressed up as a glow worm. Kylee wanted to be a mermaid. So for her birthday Grandma And Grandpa Lau got her a little mermaid dress and mermaid shoes to match, that even light up! Makya wanted to be Diego. Like the Cartoon go Diego go!

Grandma Lau came trick or treating with us this year. We went to pocatello to the mall so the kids would be warmer. While we where in Pocatello we stoped at Aunt Diann's house. And got a picture with the cousins! Dawnie, Dallon,Dustin, and Danae.

This year I got to do a treat for Makya's preschool class for there Halloween party. This is what I came up with. They Drove me Batty!! No really I thought they wouldn't take me that long. But I thought I could do it Lot's faster after the kids went to bed. So I started at 10:00p.m and didn't finish all 37 adorable cupcakes till 3:30a.m. My kids Were up at 7:45. But they turned out so dang cute! And Makya was soooo excited! He told all the kids at school that his mom made the cool bat cup cakes. Just to see Makya's eyes light up joy, and to hear his little gitty laugh of excitement made it worth it!

Kloe's Blessing

Kloe was blessed by her dad. It was a beatiful blessing. She looked so beatiful in her little white blessing dress. She looked just like a angel.

Tis The Season!

Tis the season! Hunting season that is! Jeff, Lea and the Girls got to come down for hunting season this year. Jared, Jeff, and Lea all put in together for a late Elk rifle hunt. And they drew. So Jeff and Lea made the trip back home so they could all go hunting. Lea Got her first deer! She shoot a very nice small 3 point. You go girl! Jeff shoot a Big 6 point! And Jared and Jeff Hansen our sharing a Big 6 point. Ya how do you share a elk? I'm sure our hunters would be glad to fill in any details on the hunting story's. We were glad Jeff and Lea came down for hunting season, because Jared will be gone to work when they come down again for Christmas. We decided to wait to bless Kloe for when they came to visit. We are so glad that they could be here for that! But the best part of the trip was seeing Gracie and Maddy! They are going up so fast. When they came down they were just learning to walk. I love watching baby's first walk! They're still a little wobbly like Bambi, it's soooo cute!

Splish Splash!

Makya and Kylee have always loved tubby time. I'm glad to see that Kloe has inherited part fish from her mommy to! Isn't it crazy that she fit's if a sink! It won't last for long. That's for sure. I love what President Monson said in his talk in this last conference. "Don't worry about all the laundry , the toys, and the finger prints all over. For all to soon they will be gone and you will miss them."I love all little things my kids do. I try to soak up all there little hugs and kiss, their little laugh, their little smile, all the little fun things they do and say. It's like sunshine to my soul!Life is really just made up of bunches of little things. So it's the little thing's that matter the most! For example. My Grandma Dahl who was under five feet tall use to say to me good thing come in small packages like Diamonds and Ruby's and Topaz's!

Kloe's 1st Camping Trip!

When Makya was six days old we took him camping to Stanley for the Idaho State bow hunters jamboree. Which is pretty much Jared's mom's side of the family the Baird Family Reunion. When Kylee was three weeks old we took her camping to Tincup Wy. Where we go camping every fall. So we couldn't let Kloe be left out! So last weekend we took her on her first camping trip over to Freedom Wy. All of our kids have slept in this chair in Grandma and Grandpa Lau's trailer. (No we are not entirely crazy we didn't take our newborn baby's camping in a tent.) It was fun to tell Makya and Kylee that they both slept in that chair when they where little like Kloe. They liked hearing about how we gave them a bath in the sink of the camper because they were so little. At least I haven't laid Kloe in the fall leaves to take a picture. Well that's probably because there is no fall leaves to lay her in...........yet! And I'm sorry about Chopping off Jared's head. I'm not a super awesome picture taker. As my dad would say I've cut off more head's than Napoleon! My bad.

Our Bundle Of Joy!

Kloe Lana Lau was born Aug 18 2008 at 10:14 p.m. She was 7 pounds and 8 ounces, 20 1/2 inches long. She has Brown hair and blue eyes. Olive skin. A perfectly shaped head. Long Fingers and Toes. The same nose as Makya and Kylee. The shape of daddy eyes. Mommy's lips. And when people ask us who she looks like we say Kloe. We can't really decide who she looks like but what we agree on is that she's perfect in every way! There is nothing in the world like having a new baby straight from heaven! Bring a child into this world is one of the most beautiful spiritual experience I've ever had in my life. For me there is no greater Joy in this world to me then being a mother. Jared is such a cute dad in so many ways! One cute thing he did day before Kloe was even born was, Jared sent Kloe a text that Say's, "Dear Kloe, I know that soon you will be joining our crazy family...don't worry! Kylee will teach you to smile. Makya will teach you how to play hard and to not say all the words. Mom will shower you with kisses...and daddy will be wrapped around your little finger. Love you and see you soon! So now i have to explain part of a family inside joke. Lanett came with me to a Doctors appointment in poky. And Kylee was soooo excited to see grandma that she just keep talking and talking. Finally, Kya turn's to Kylee and say "Kylee how why do you say all the words?" I and Lanett died laughing! So since Jared started this blog and the computerly challenge wife has to keep it up, I want to share another cute Tex from our dad to Kloe." Kloe, I was praying in my heart which got me to thinking about heaven which made me think about angels...when i thought about angels it made me think of you!" Kloe is defiantly our little angel! We love her so much. And I'm sorry I'm slow to put up pictures to show every one our new bundle of Joy!

Lau Family Camping Trip

Our Family Camping Trip To Teton National Park

Our family has never been camping all by ourselves. This was the first trip that was just me Jared and the kids. And we had a blast! The really fun part about Jared's new job is that we get a whole week instead of a weekend to do what ever we want. So we had the whole week to go camping. If you haven't got the chance to go see the Tetons. You should really take the time to go see them. Because their absolutely breath taking! Makes you really stop and appercaicate for a moment what a beautiful world it is that our Heavenly Father has created for us. So besides the mountains, we saw Meadow after meadow of flowers, jenny's lake, 2 moose, 6 Buffalo, Lot's of deer( the kind with antlers too!), At least 50 elk, and not nearly enough fish! Topaz got to go fishing for the first time in her life. We even rented out a boat and went out on the the lake. But the only fish we saw were back at the marina. When we got back to the marina, kya got so excited when he saw the fish by the dock that he hurried and made a cast into the water and said hope I catch one! The kids loved our camping spot! We would be out doing something and kya would say i want to go back to the camper and play. Our camping spot was right along a creek. And this creek happened to have sand along it so the kids got to play in the sand and build truck road, princess castles and what have you, while daddy fished in the stream. Where we parked the trailer was really cool to. It was right next to some pine tree's that created a natural canopy slash play area for the kids. And some thing that I loved loved loved about are camping spot was that we were right in a meadow. It was a great trip. At the end of the trip when we had just got in the truck to come home, Kya said I loved this Family time. And that made the whole trip worth it right there.

Makya's 4th Birthday Party!

Makya had a blast at his 4th birthday party this year! He really wanted a fire truck birthday party. So Jared and I decided to get brave or crazy. And we did a our first kid birthday party. Which I thought it turned out really good for our first one. We had 13 kids there. Now that may not sound like a ton of kids. But it is when they're four year old's. We had a lot of parents say you guys are brave (i'm sure they were really thinking "they're crazy!"). The high light of Makya's party was that we had the town fire truck come to our house. It was AWESOME! They let the kids get in the truck and honk the horn. Then they let them spray water from the hose. They also did a fire safety persentation. They even told them the story of smoky the bear. It was cool!Needless to say it was a hit.The problem now is what are we going to do next year that's half as cool.

4th of July

We went to the parade here in soda for the 4th. We went with Grandma Lau. Aunt LaNae, Beth and Sally, found us and came and watched the parade with us. It was a special treat! The kids got sooooo much candy.
